“Economic Terrorism”(as referred to by John Perkin’s book “Confessions of an Economic Hit Man”: summary 1 & summary 2) is one reason why UN and hence USA is pushing family breaking laws into India and other countries(recent attempt being the attempt to introduce vexatious I-VAWA or the International (for all countries) Violence against Women Act, if I-VAWA is implemented Indian Women organisation and others who will ensure the breaking of our family system will get 1 billion US dollars).
To know why they are after breaking the Indian family system please note that in India the family akes care of the senior citizens, the children, the family members who cannot support themselves and the women who need their support and the government does not have to spend anything as social expenditure for this to be in place. But in countries like USA the social expenditure as a percentage of GDP is 23.4% (this figure is for the 1990s), Sweden tops the list with 30.6% (see the image below for the list, one could refer this webpage for more details).

UN and women organizations are deliberately popularizing false statistics of violence on women (see the Advertisement above, by UNIFEM using Google ad syndication, the widget from UNIFEM is also blogged here)
Request go through the link of media radar, which will prove that UN themselves conceded that the above statistic of 70% Indian women are subjected to domestic violence is a false statistic.
Here is the correction by Washington post on the same subject after media radar cornered them.

The U.S. Govt. is planning to table a bill in its Senate and the Lower House named the iVAWA which stands for “International Violence against Women Act”. Not to be surprised at all, it will be completely anti-male and in the name of Women Empowerment, Male Entrapment would be passed off as a social service. The U.S. Govt. is planning to release $ 1 billion, which works out to Rs. 4500 Crore for creating awareness about iVAWA and Indian feminists would easily get $ 200 million which works out to Rs. 900 crores for implementing iVAWA. Such an amount of money is sufficiently enough to ruin Indian men’s lives.
Apart from being gender biased, the iVAWA is actually “A Ticking Social Bomb” which will be covered shortly, but before that I will share certain bare facts. Continue reading iVAWA – A Ticking Social Bomb
Sub: Result of online poll conducted by Bhavya Foundation on implementation of I-VAWA
Bhavya Foundation is a registered NGO works for the welfare of child in general and children caught in a matrimonial dispute of their parents in particular. Foundation specially creates awareness in matters of Fatherless Children. Bhavya Foundation is headquartered at Rai-Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was founded on 10th August 2009. Its launch was aptly covered by the media as shown here.
Responding to media reports about the proposed law, “International Violence against Women Act (I-VAWA)” to be introduced soon in the U.S. senate and the cabinet, Bhavya Foundation, carried out an online poll. The U.S. Govt. is said to release $ 1 Billion for implementing the law in various countries including India. This will give Indian feminists a couple of million dollars to spread more anti-male agenda in order to justify the existence of the law.
Realizing that the implementation of such a law will promote family breaking in India and will lead to more fatherless children, Bhavya Foundation has joined the online protest launched by the Indian Affiliate Chapter of the Association for International Men’s Rights Activism and Welfare (AIMRAW), details of which can be found at, “Exclude India from I-VAWA”.

Request to Exclude India from i-VAWA bill proposed to be tabled in Senate
The International Violence against Women (i-VAWA) bill is proposed to be tabled in Senate in next couple of months. There are serious controversies in India due to misuse of the laws meant for protection of women. It is appropriate for US to allow Govt of India to deal with these issues.
So, US Senate must exclude India in i-VAWA bill.
President of India, Mrs. Pratibha Devisingh Patil on 26th Dec 2007, referring to misuse of VAW legislation in India:
““Let me put in a word of caution and sage counsel. Empowerment does not mean setting women against men. Gender injustice cannot and should not be perceived as war or rivalry between the two sexes.”
“Instances exist whereby protective legal provisions for the benefit of women have been subjected to distortion and misuse to wreak petty vengeance and to settle scores. It is unfortunate if laws meant to protect women get abused as instruments of oppression.” Click here to read more.
